Our 10-step painting process
Premium paint jobs aren't accidents. They're the result of disciplined prep, the right products, and a crew that owns the work from estimate to final walk-through. Here's exactly how a Launch Painting Co. project runs.

Phone consult & qualification
We start with a short conversation about the project — what you want done, the timeline, and whether we're the right fit. We don't try to sell you on services you don't need. If a small handyman job is a better match, we'll tell you.

On-site walk-through
A Launch Painting Co. team member comes to the property, walks every surface, and asks questions about colors, sheens, prep concerns, and access. We measure, document, and take photos so the estimate is accurate — not a guess.

Free written estimate
You receive a detailed, itemized written proposal within 24–48 hours. Materials, surfaces, coats, prep scope, and timeline — all in writing. No vague ranges, no trip fees, no obligation.

Color & product selection
We bring physical swatches, sample boards, and manufacturer paint decks. For exterior or HOA homes, we pull approved palettes. For interiors, we'll often paint sample patches on your walls so you see color in your actual light.

Scheduling & prep day
Once you approve, we lock in a start date and order materials. On day one, the crew protects floors with rosin paper, covers furniture, masks trim, and sets up daily clean-up zones.

Surface preparation
Prep is roughly 70% of a quality paint job. Pressure washing, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming — done in the right order with the right products for the substrate. We never skip prep.

Two finish coats
Premium Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore product applied in two true coats — not one heavy coat called two. Cut clean by hand, rolled or sprayed tight for an even finish.

Daily clean-up
Every day ends with the site cleaner than we found it. Trash removed, tools staged, floors swept. Your home stays livable through the entire project.

Final walk-through
Before final payment, we walk the project with you. Touch-ups happen on the spot. You sign off, we leave, and you keep written warranty documentation for your records.

Warranty & follow-up
Every Launch project carries our written workmanship warranty. If something fails because of how we applied it, we come back and fix it. We follow up at the one-year mark to make sure the finish is performing.
