Workmanship warranty
Every Launch Painting Co. project is backed by our written workmanship warranty. If a finish we applied fails because of how we prepared or applied it, we come back and make it right — no arguments, no fine-print games.
Interior projects
2-year workmanship
Interior wall, ceiling, and trim painting carries a 2-year workmanship warranty against peeling, flaking, or adhesion failure on properly-prepared substrates.
Exterior projects
3-year workmanship
Exterior repaints — stucco, siding, trim, fascia, and soffits — carry a 3-year workmanship warranty against peeling, blistering, or adhesion failure caused by our application.
Cabinet refinishing
2-year workmanship
Cabinet refinishing carries a 2-year workmanship warranty against peeling, chipping, or adhesion failure related to our preparation and application.
What's covered
Workmanship coverage
- Peeling or flaking caused by improper surface preparation we performed.
- Adhesion failure on properly-prepared surfaces we coated.
- Premature coating failure on substrates we primed and finished.
- Caulking joints we installed that fail prematurely.
- Cabinet finish defects related to our application within the cure window.
What's not covered
Exclusions
- Damage from impact, vandalism, hurricane, or extreme weather events.
- Pre-existing structural issues like wood rot, stucco delamination, or water intrusion not disclosed at estimate.
- Surfaces specifically excluded from the original scope of work.
- Normal wear, fading from UV after the warranty period, or color drift on darker tones.
- Failure caused by homeowner modifications, pressure washing, or chemical exposure after completion.
Filing a claim
How to file a warranty claim
- 1. Contact us by phone at 321-345-6889 or via our contact page. Reference your original project address and approximate completion date.
- 2. Send photos of the affected area so we can assess remotely and bring the correct materials.
- 3. We schedule an inspection typically within 7 business days. If the issue is covered, we schedule the repair at no cost to you.
- 4. We complete the repair using the same products and methods as the original project, restoring the finish to original condition.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original homeowner at the address where the work was performed. Manufacturer product warranties (Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore) apply independently and may extend coverage on the coating itself.
